Reconciliation must become practical. Words of testimony are not enough. Once people’s hearts turn towards each other, we encourage them to begin to demonstrate their reconciliation by working together in simple practical ways to begin to transform their communities in practical ways.

In Rwanda, some who participated in the genocide are working side by side with genocide survivors, making improved ovens, growing kitchen gardens for example. For more information on this, please see www.rabagirana.org

Depending on availability, it may be possible for a further workshop focussing on the Biblical foundations of Community development to be conducted. For more information see www.lerucher.org (selecting Community Development)
